Chapter 4



Alanna watched as Dan headed towards the bathroom door then he stopped suddenly and turned to face her,
"Could you call me by my real name" Alanna look up at him in confusion and said
" so What is you real name then"
"Jake, my real names Jake"
" But why do you have a fake name"
"My parents told me that dad as a young werewolf broke the rules of another pack and that pack swore vengeance to kill him and we been on the run ever since but now I don't think that is the case" Jake finished looking at her, She smiled at him and said
"ok then Jake go and get washed", pushing him through the door of the bathroom, this caused Jake to chuckle
" ok, ok I'm going". He quickly grabs his bag from the side and closed the door softly behind.
Once he was gone she slumped down on to the bed her heart was racing she didn't know what but she felt connected to him some how, the logical side tell her not to but her body just wont listen as she found out last night, she couldn't believe half the things she did, it wasn't like her. Sighing slightly she started making the bed and tidying the room.
As she was tidying she didn't hear the bathroom door open as Jake crept up behind her in black jeans a a t-shirt with a dragon on and put his hand on her shoulder and said
"boo!" Alanna jump side ways and yelped in surprise, Jake burst out laughing and Alanna narrowed her eyes at him.
"so mean" she said
"who me" Jake acts innocently, Alanna narrows her eyes more at him and as quick as lightning swooped down and pulls his legs out from underneath him so he fell backwards on to the floor. She then starts to giggle and offers a hand to pull him back up again, Jake looks at the out stretched hand and take it but instead of getting up he pulled her down  with him were she fell on top of him her mouth open in a surprised gesture and then blushes a deep read which made Jakes heart flutter. Alanna very quickly gets off and quickly composes her self,
"we need to leave" turning back to business mode taking Jake by the elbow and pulling him up before turning away to put some socks and her boots on, Jake hurriedly does the same and pack his things away and following Alanna out the room.
Alanna told him to stay in the car while she checked but he wished she didn't he didn't want to be away from her, he had feeling that he couldn't explain it felt so new to him it was like nothing he ever experienced before. The sound of the car door opening broke his thoughts as Alanna climbed into the drivers Seat.
"where are we going" he asked
"I cannot tell you that" she replied
"Why not"
"Because if I fail to protect you and the vampires get you we don't want our location revealed to the vampires" Jake shivers at the thought of being captured, his dream flash before his eyes causing sweat to form on his skin,
" But I wont tell"
" Even still I am not allowed" Alanna's voice was flat and emotionless, Sighing Jake says,
"ok then how long until we arrive"
"three days or maybe more" look at Jake and continues " are you ok you don't look good"
"I'm fine" he swallows pushing his hair away from his eyes,
"we'll stop for breakfast you might feel better then" starting the car and putting it in gear,
"yer" he said quietly turning to look out of the window.
